This is the second book of the Hercule Poirot Series by Agatha Christie. I saw the movie years ago, and have only recently decided to read all the books in order (I read many of the previousl out of order). I loved this book. It was so much better then the movie. The twist at the end was even surprising to me, who vaguely remembered the movie. The only thing that bothered me was how dense Hastings was. He was so annoying! But Poirot made it up with his polite brilliance. I highly recommend this book, and all the rest of the series.
