One of the first urban novels that I picked up, and still holds it's title as one of the best. Everyday I see a young African-American female from my school reading it and raving about it. I enjoyed it and thought it taught me a lot of urban reading. I recommend it to anybody who hasn't read it, even though I doubt there is anybody out there who haven't read this great book already.
