I just looove Georgette Heyer’s work. I hadn’t enjoyed trying to read this one so I tried the audiobook. That was much easier for me though there was a lot of slowness to the reading, as if they were trying to use up more audio time. It isn’t the greatest GH but on the other hand it was a very early one and not in the regency period. She has also written some mysteries and a few just plain contemporary fiction books. Try some of them just for fun!
