A good read that goes by too fast. Set partly in Hawaii. Another great Kathy Reich book.

Tempe goes to Hawaii to untangle a Viet Nam era military forensics identification error. LOTS of explanation of the history of government forensics bureaucracy.

There’s at least 3 unidentified skeletons and they keep on switching the identity of them, so I started to lose track. There’s also a handful of living characters, some of whom have false identities and are interchangeable with the skeletons. I just kept on losing track of who was currently who. Perhaps this isn’t a bedtime book but one to be read when you’re more awake and can keep track.
