Very good book. A word of caution: there are some themes dealt with (quite well) in the story that a preteen or young teen maybe shouldn’t be exposed to.

The retold fairytale of Snow White and Rose Red. I have read numberous retellings of fairytales, but none as good as this one. It was nice to actually have characters striving to do the right thing. Even if you’re not Catholic, this book is just a fun enjoyable adventure. The only thing that seemed a little far-fetched was that the teens kept quoting Chesterton, Shakespeare, and more. I guess there are teens out there that can quote classic writers, but I’ve never met them. I look forward to reading the rest of the series.

This book was so incredible! It is a retelling of the story snow white and rose red. This book is for 14 year olds and up. But (I'm 12) you can ask your mom or dad to read it first to see if you can read it.
