I’m not quite sure if the author meant to be serious when he wrote this book. Maybe this book is meant to be more of a satire. Sadly, I didn’t find it amusing. Naturally every country has problems in its history, but to say that a country is evil because it is the only one who did this or that is outrageous. Many countries did the same thing, even before England. For example, child labor was going on in Ancient Egypt, thousands of years before England starting employing children to work. And that is only one of the hundred examples. The book was interesting, though it was hard to take it seriously.
