What's the best way to describe this book. Think of it as a three part (no pun intended)story of Stephen King's The Stand, Salem's lot and Cormac McCarthy's The Road. Now I will state for the record, that this book can get a little long winded ( dragging out story lines). Luckily if you wade through it you will find a first rate story.

I got sucked into this book in a big way -- at first I thought it was going to be a derivative of The Stand, and it does have some of the same features, but it also stands up well on its own. Good character development, and left some unanswered questions. Recommend.
