This was a great book because it was about two softball teams that would play against each other each year for a annnual softball game.There is a girl named Aki who is Jappenese and is on one of the two teams. There is a new girl on the opposit team named Shazam. She does not like Aki at all.

It's about two girls softball teams in the 1930s. Each team member of both teams writes a little about them selves and the other players on their team. The two teams have a game at the end of the book but it is cancelled because Shazam hit Aki in the jaw. Nobody wins!
