It was really good!! It tells about Shayla and Kambia. In this book they go though lots of different stuff. At first you may thinK Kambia is some phyvo path but you later find out why. The second book to this one is Shayla's Double Brown Baby Blues which i think is even better then the fisrt!

I really liked this book. I can realate to Shayla ( the main charactar) and what happens in the book. Right away you are intrigud by Kambia and want to know more you cannot put the book down. It takes place in a " less fortunate" part of town in the south. I suggest you read it!
