A Hercule Poirot Novel. This certainly wasn’t one of my favorites of Hercule Poirot books, but it was still quite good. The mystery wasn’t the best, but the characters were hillarious and I was glad to see Hastings back. It really works well, having the Hasting/Watson and Poirot/Holmes thing in mysteries like this, probably because you need a down-to-earth main character to balance a brilliant detective that is hard to relate to. I look forward to reading more of this series.
