She meets Roger, a dwarf who helps her find her way, and she is insulted when the kitchen boy is the knight accompanying her on her trip! But the Kitchen Boy has a few secrets of his own. A good Fantasy with a strong girl heroine.

This book was quite an unexpected pleasure to read. I have very few critisisms for this book, except may the characters are not as developed as I would usually like. Besides that, I loved the plot, characters, scenery, and, most of all, the ending.

This series is my absolute favorite. If you could only read two books or two series, I would say read the Bible and this series.
