It's about 5-year-old Betsy and her shy friend, Tacy. Together they have many adventours such as running away from school, making (and selling) bottles of colored sand, and many more. This is a wonderful book, and all of it's (almost) true! (It's based on Maud's (Betsy's) own childhood adventours with her friend Bick (Tacy).

I read this book aloud to my four-year-old daughter, and we both really enjoyed it. We hope to continue reading the series together.
