This was the first garden book I ever purchased. At the time my yard was 100% sded. It helped me make some good choices for plants, and the pictures were perfect for my novice self. That year I planted Ajuga, Spiderwort, deadnettle, and astilbe. Everything thrived, except the astilbe.
