Second to When the Wind Blows, this is one of the best sequals I have ever read. Patterson is best read, not talked about. A must read series for any Patterson Fan.

This is the sequal of When the Wind Blows and the first book that I’ve read written by James Patterson. I have been wanting to read one of his for a long time, but, if this is any indication of his other books, I never plan to read others. The twelve year old child was sexualized and the ending was horrible. The entire situation between the two older children was disgusting. If they was sixteen, it wouldn’t be as bad, but these children were twelve and younger. Even if the rest of the plot was interesting, that situation completely ruined the entire book for me.
