This is not a particularly well-written book and there were no well-drawn or likable characters in it. I could not finish it and am dismayed if this really reflects the fashion industry. According to this book, there is quite a bit of money and effort being wasted by the fashion industry to produce nothing but a gaggle of smug networkers who suck up to each other. Can't we do better in this country? I probably will not see the moview now.

I watched the movie before I read the book and the movie is my favorite movie. The book was great and I think that the movie and the book were very similar.
