This is a really really good book. The story line and characters are intriguing and the end is unexpected. The real drawback to this book and many in the series is that Dick Hill is the narrator. He takes much of the enjoyment of listening to a story that takes place in Europe away. Simon Vance would have been a much better narrator.

Mr. Mankell is close to the abillity of his country man Arnaldur Indridason, but not quite in his league.
