This book is excelent! I loved it! It's definitly a five star. It's about a boy named Ken who likes to day dream. He just can't get it through his head that there are other things more important to his dad than horses. He lives in the city at a boarding school during school and comes home in the summer to his family horse farm. He tries to be more like a man to try to earn his own horse. He tries and tries and expieriences some awful things as his horse's loco mother dies and the rest of her siblings get sold to a race track company. His brother seems to be perfect and he can't stand it. The book is an excelent classic and appropriate for most agge groups. Although the farm hands have a tendancy of swearing a bit. It's awesome! Read it!
