Let me start by saying that this is one of the best scifi ever written (in my humble opinion). Card develops an unusal hero out of Ender, whoose age sorta surprised me. I've read of Card's books pertaining to Ender or Bean, and I think that Ender's Game is one of his best along with Speaker of the Dead.

Ender Wiggin is the only guy who can do it. Actually he's just a six year old boy. There has been a war ragging on for hudreds of years against humans and "buggers" Ender has to learn how to be a commander and goes through Poeples hate towards him and being cheated against while playing a game, if thats what you can call it. This is an amazing book and a pretty difficult read. It takes you to places you wish you could be. It's funny too!
