First off, I'd like to say thank you to the author, Kathryn Lasky. When I was in school and I finished the Harry Potter Series I thought I needed to keep reading. So I looked to see what everyone was reading. My friend Caitlin was reading the Guardians of Ga'Hoole series. I though to give talking owls a chance. Once I read it I thought it was one of my favorite books. It has so many adventures from Soren(main character)being whisked away from his nest to a far away place called Saint Aggie's, to the time when Soren and Gyfie were moon blinked. Anyway I love the Guardians of Ga'Hoole. I think you should check out The Capture at your local Library.

This is the first book in the series, where our main character, Soren, is kidnapped from his home after falling out of his nest. Soren doesn't know where he is, or why he's there, but he is sure of one thing, he isn't in a good place.

I thought this was a really good book.A bit of a strange theme, but good nonetheless. There are fifteen of them. I own 1, 4 and 15. I also have the first third of the fourth book on CD.

This series is so cool! I can't put these books down! 8D about Soren, a barn owl who "falls" out of his families nest, to young to fly. A partol of St.Aggies catches him and brings him to the orphanage and then try to moonblink him. He befriend a owl named Gylfie and together they save the day. mostly.
