This is the second book in the Dakotah Treasures Series. The first book is Ruby, but Hennepin County does not appear to have it which is why it is not on the list. The series is about a young woman, her sister, and the property they inherit from their father. It just doesn't turn out to be the property they were expecting....Pearl is about a school teacher who has fled to Dakotah Territory to escape a forced and loveless marriage. Will teaching school fulfill Pearl or will she find someone who she loves in Dakotah Territory?
