Mike the Bike's PAID Viewing Choices (Apr - Jun 2011)
Monday, 15 August - 10:15 A.M. Even though I'm adding titles to the next (Jul - Sep) list, and it's marked "not shared," some of the titles are being randomly pulled onto the "comments from readers" (recent comments) section. Looks like you can get an advance look. Until the last few days, only one page of comments was being displayed, but checking this morning, 10 pages seem to be coming up (yeah!). Included are "Sacrifice," "36th Precinct," and "Breaking Bad." Friday 1 July - 1:30 P.M. Latest list. 32 titles made the list from 136 choices (24%). The pot from which to pick seemed somewhat thin (IMHO). Last quarter was 30%, and the winter/non-spring kept me indoors more (178 from which to pick). The next quarter (July - September) will be competing with nice bike riding weather, and indoors always loses. Currently, I'm trying to digest "True blood. The complete third season" and the heat index yesterday and today made for an easy decision. Enjoy my choices &/or critics' reviews. MIKE the BIKE    Print this list Print this list

The West Wing. The complete first season, disc 4 [videorecording]
#19(Apr.18)(1999)(No score on Rotten Tomatoes or Metacritic (has 9.7 - User Score) --- A review by MaryAnn Johanson (Flick Filosopher) at --- http://www.flickfilosopher.com/blog/2004/08/the_west_wing_the_complete_fir.html --- HCL had a 4 disc, 1(?) copy/disc of the 1st season. (Discs #1 & #3 have been lost and not replaced). Check out the fourth disc, which is exclusively supplements. I especially recommend the "special features" section (74'), which should convince you to order the 7 seasons through ILL (Inter Library Loan).
