Dessen, Sarah
I really, really didn't want to read this book at first because I'm not really into reading about feeling and stuff, and that's what I thought Sarah Dessen books were about! Heck, I was wrong about it! It's an amazing book!!!

Looking for Alaska
Green, John, 1977-
This book is amazing! I don't recommend it to younger readers, but teenagers will devour it! It's about this guy, Miles, who starts attending a boarding school. He meets this girl named Alaska who's unpredictable, wild, quirky, and just lovable. Some days, she would be smart, fun and flirty, but others, she would break down and sob and not tell anyone why. I don't want to ruin anything, but something happens, and suddenly Miles is questioning how well he really knew her and what extremes she would drive herself, and what really happened to arise such a horrid outcome.

Crank
Hopkins, Ellen
| As you can see from the title, this book is about a girl with a drug addiction to crank, among other things.
I really liked it because it described exactly how awful crank is without nagging, it proved exactly why you should stay away from drugs. It was really good and I loved the main character. Inside, she was a good person, but the crank made a whole other person act for her. |

Eclipse
Meyer, Stephenie, 1973-
The third book in the Twilight Series. This is a REALLY REALLY REALLY good book!!! It's the kind of book you stay up reading until 3 o'clock in the morning on a school night (speaking from experience here!!!)

New moon
Meyer, Stephenie, 1973-
The second book in the Twilight Series (see Twilight below). This is a really good book, but really sad and it broke my heart. It's not as good as the first book (Twilight) or the book that follows it (Eclipse) but is still really good.

Twilight : a novel
Meyer, Stephenie, 1973-
I can not even BEGIN to describe how amazing this book is!!! It is literally ADDICTING!!!! You can't under any circumstances put it down! It's about a girl who meets a vampire and falls in love with him. But it's not all mystical and confusing with weird long names. The story feels like real life, and it's almost as if this can happen to you also. I recommend it to any girls (or boys) who like romance and a little bit of paranormal. You don't have to like magic or vampires in order to love this book, though. If you haven't read it, read it!! I haven't met one person who hasn't liked it.

My sister's keeper : a novel
Picoult, Jodi, 1966-
Such a sad but intriguing book! The ending is totally not what you expect. It's about a girl whose sister has cancer, and to save the sister, the parents created the girl in a special lab so they can use her marrows and other organs for transplants. The main character has had countless surgeries throughout her life to help save her sister without her consent, and she's finally putting her foot down.

Harry Potter and the deathly hallows
Rowling, J. K.
Harry Potter is like a second family to me. I grew up reading these books and waiting for new ones to come out. They are so so amazing. Anyone who surprisingly hasn't read them should go to the library NOW and get them. They are truly, books you HAVE to read. SO SO SO good!!! I really like the seventh one, but I think the 6th is my favorite.

Uglies
Westerfeld, Scott
One of my favorite series! This is the first book. It's about a girl who lives in a world centered on a special operation everyone gets when they turn 16 that makes them "pretty". The operation is optional, but everyone gets it to not be counted an ugly outcast. But what happens when a girl refuses to get surgically altered and wants to stay the way she is and runs away? Suddenly, the operation is no longer optional.
