by Owen, Mark Excellent book written plainly and honestly by a SEAL. You can tell how much he loves his country and how dedicated he is to his country, his fellow SEALs, and fellow Americans. He tells the story from the heart. No fanfare, no arrogance. He is just doing what he feels is right. Also, a great inspiration to see a person who works very hard and is driven to do good in the world. He genuinely loves his family, and coworkers, and does not speak badly of anyone even though you get the feeling he disapproves of the red tape in Washington. Worth waiting for! posted Dec 13, 2012 at 3:12PM

by Pollan, Michael. Fantastic information. Excellent journalism. Pollen presented the facts in a very fair and comprehensive way. I’ve been trying to eat increasingly healthier and this adds to the argument. The author’s writing style is is a bit stilted and roundabout, so it doesn’t read like a "thriller" but still very interesting and compellng. A must read for everyone! posted Oct 24, 2012 at 11:37PM

by Navarro, Joe I liked the idea of learning how to read body language, and I did learn some things, but the book is poorly written. The style is too chatty and repeats the same words many time (no variation in vocabulary). It also feels like the author has a hidden agenda, to advertise himself for speaking engagements, or giving classes, or consulting bc almost all his stories surround around these jobs. I would recommend to take out a different book if you are interested in the subject. posted Jun 13, 2010 at 1:30PM
