In administering Minnesota’s securities laws to carry out the public interest, the Department of Commerce strives to: maximize the effectiveness of regulation for the protection of investors; minimize burdens on the business of capital formation, without adversely affecting the essentials of investor protection; and maximize uniformity in federal and state regulatory standards. |
