December 3: Snowy Days: Decorate cookies and enjoy two magical wintertime tales celebrating the joy of snowfall.
February 4: For Kids By Kids : Watch prize-winning animated films made by Camera-etc., an international collective of animators working with children to create hand-made artistic films that tell the children's own stories. (Note: all films have some English subtitles, which adults may read aloud for children.)

K-grade 5. Certified volunteers will help put young readers at ease so they can cuddle up with a dog or other animal and practice reading aloud. Call ahead to find out what types of animals will be visiting. Arrive between 1:30-2:30 p.m. to sign up for a time slot.
