Master Gardener: Small Space Vegetable Gardening

You can create highly productive flower and vegetable gardens in small spaces. Learn to plan your space, use trellises, containers, wide-row or square-row, rounded beds and raised beds.

Paws to Read

For families. Certified volunteers will help put young readers at ease so they can cuddle up with a dog or other animal and practice reading aloud. Call ahead to find out what types of animals will be visiting.

Banana-Wocky

For families. See live banana plants, share stories and meet the animals that eat nature's perfect fruit.

Act Out for Kids: Creative Movement

Art Out of the Box: Handmade Portraits

Entering grades 2-5. Museum-trained teens will take you on a hands-on exploration of portraits from the museum. Turn your idea of self-image on its head with a playful approach to a timeless art form. Leave with a sketchbook to keep drawing whenever inspiration strikes!
