Global Folk: Singalong Folk Songs

All ages. Clap your hands, stomp your feet and get moving to the beat as Ross Sutter sings folk songs from America and Northern Europe. Children will have a chance to try out different rhythm instruments.
This project is funded with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
Brodini Comedy Magic Show

Magician Graylyn Morris will raise spirits and test kids' powers of concentration as he manipulates ropes, scarves, balls and other magician's props in a perplexing "now-you-see-it, now-you-don't" performance! Sponsored by Friends of the St. Anthony Library.
Art Out of the Box: Handmade Portraits
Monday, July 8, 2–3 p.m.

Entering grades 2-5. Museum-trained teens will take you on a hands-on exploration of portraits from the museum. Turn your idea of self-image on its head with a playful approach to a timeless art form. Leave with a sketchbook to keep drawing whenever inspiration strikes!
