Used Book Sale

Bargain hunters and book lovers take note: the Friends of the Library will hold a sale of children's fiction and nonfiction books in hardcover and paperback. Most books, withdrawn from the Hennepin County Library system or donated by the public, will be priced $1 or less. Funds raised will benefit the library.
Kids materials only.
Book donations accepted at the library beginning Jan. 1.

Fishy Fun

Entering grades 1-6. Explore the six senses of a fish. Print a fish image using the ancient Japanese art form of gyotaku. (If you want to print on a shirt, bring one from home.) Role-play (minnow, perch, northern pike, bacteria or angler?) and find out who's eating who in our lakes and rivers.
