Art for Life: Découpage Glass Vases

For adults 55+. Sometimes called “paper stained glass,” this technique uses papers, glaze and a variety of beautiful glass vases to create a piece of art that will match your décor and personality. Materials provided.

Used Book Sale
Saturday, Sept. 20, 9a.m.–4 p.m.
Bargain hunters and book lovers take note: the Friends of the Library will hold a sale of hundreds of adult and children's fiction and nonfiction books in hardcover and paperback. Most books are withdrawn from the Hennepin County Library system or donated by the public. Funds raised will benefit the library. 
Book donations accepted at the library beginning Sept. 1.

Learn the secrets of getting past your fear of the blank page, from a writer who has been there. This teaching artist will guide you through proven exercises to break through writer's block.
