Saturday, Jan. 23, 1–2:30 p.m.
For kids in grades 1-5. Certified volunteers help put young readers at ease so they can cuddle up with a dog or other animal and practice reading aloud. Call ahead to find out what types of animals will be visiting. Arrive between noon-1 p.m. to sign up for a time slot.

Asian New Year Celebration
Saturday, Feb. 6, 1:30 p.m.
Kick off the Year of the Tiger by learning dragon moves and drumming to drive off bad luck, followed by tiger tales, traditional folk dances and making "lucky" symbols. You're welcome to attend the event in traditional clothing.
