This critically acclaimed film documents how oppression in the years before Stonewall affects LGBT seniors today. It puts a face on what experts in the film call an epidemic: lesbian, gay, bisexual or transgender elders so afraid of discrimination by caregivers or bullying by other seniors that many simply go back into the closet to survive in the care system. A panel discussion will follow the screening.
This project is funded with money from Minnesota's Arts and Cultural Heritage Fund.
