Choosing the Right Form of Business Ownership

Understand the business, legal and tax implications of each ownership option. P. Arthur Moe, LegalCORPS, will explain forms of business organization including sole proprietorships, partnerships and incorporation, and identify the factors to consider when choosing the most suitable business structure. Time for questions and discussion follows presentation.

Tax advice and assistance by trained volunteer counselors for seniors and others with low-to-moderate income. Bring all records related to 2009 income and property taxes (Certificate for Rent Paid Card) with mailing label and a copy of the 2008 tax return. Taxpayers with unusual or complex tax questions should obtain help from the IRS or paid preparers.
