Hennepin County Library (HCL) building projects reflect the mission to nourish minds, transform lives and build community together. We envision a Hennepin County where library services ensure every person has the opportunity and resources to read, graduate, engage, work and learn.Using Hennepin County standards, we aim to create spaces that are innovative, easy to access, and welcoming. Each new or modified space will be configured to serve the new and broader purposes of a 21st-century library.
