Comments:
I read with dismay the article in the March 29 Lakeshore Weekly News about the Library's proposed design for a new Excelsior library. Excelsior is one of the most historic & charming cities in Minnesota. the contemporary design that was submitted is completely out of character for this community. We've put up with a poorly designed ill-fitting building since 1965. We can't afford to make the same mistake again. Please find an architect who understands history and can design a building which will be a true asset to Excelsior.
