MISS ROSA OF 'PBS KIDS' IS COMING TO MINNESOTA TO PRESENT FREE STORYTIMES AT 2 LIBRARIES
Miss Rosa, the popular host of the PBS Kids morning program on Twin Cities Public Television, is coming to Minnesota to present free storytimes on Friday, Nov. 6, 10:30-11:30 a.m. at St. Paul Public Library - Central, and on Saturday, Nov. 7, 11 a.m.-noon at Hennepin County Library - Brookdale.
On PBS Kids, this teacher and actress of Costa Rican and Puerto Rican descent guides preschoolers through curriculum-based activities about the world around them and introduces Spanish words and phrases as they explore the theme of the day. She is bilingual and speaks flawless English and Spanish. The program is developed with educational consultants whose "philosophy is that kids learn through play and that exploration can lead to exciting discovery."
