The art conservator for the Nokomis Library one percent project has developed a four-step abrasive process to polish the individual metal disks of the “Wind and Water” stabile, resulting in a warm, golden finish. Once the disks are cleaned and polished they will be re-strung in the same pattern as the original design. The design for a bench to surround the artwork is under development.
