Make a difference in the life of a male or female resident through the Mentor Program at the Hennepin County Adult Corrections Facility in Plymouth. Help ex-offenders successfully transition back into society, so they do not re-offend. Attend the free mentor training on Saturday, November 13, 2010 at the corrections facility.

Mentors must be 21 years or older, have access to reliable transportation, have a valid Minnesota drivers license and proof of insurance. If an ex-offender, (s)he must be 1 year off paper. If chemically dependent, (s)he must be sober for at least 1 year. The mentor must be stable in his/her own life and must be able to provide personal and professional references.
