Art at Hennepin County Library
|Wind and Water Chime
by Donald Celender
at Nokomis Library - Adult Reading Area
The piece is a 16-foot high stabile composed of approximately 2,400 rectangles of brass, bronze, and copper, each hand-shaped and strung on monofilament. "Conceived as an ethereal, slightly active varicolored composite of reflecting forms that simulate nearby Minnehaha Falls, as well as introduce a sense of subtle sound and motion within the library."
