"My estate will never be large enough to build libraries, but it may be large enough to buy books for a library."

LIVING LIBRARY SOCIETY
The Library Foundation of Hennepin County has created a planned giving society – The Living Library Society. Naming the Library Foundation as the beneficiary of a charitable bequest is as simple as adding a few sentences to your will.
By becoming a member of the society, individuals not only make a public statement of their support for our wonderful library system, they enable individuals to make significant gifts that they may not have been able to make during life. Gifts received through the individual’s planned giving instrument will help build an endowment assuring a strong and sustaining future for Hennepin County Library.
Attached is a letter of intent that can be completed and mailed to the Foundation offices, or for more information about how to become a member of the Living Library Society, please contact Jane Johnson, Executive Director, Library Foundation at JLJOHNSON@hclib.org or 952-847-8634.
