Hunting: keep it legal, keep it safe
Hunting in Minnesota isn't just about deer and ducks. Did you know there is a snipe season? How about bagging your own turkey for the Thanksgiving table? Have you considered the bear or moose lottery? But while legal hunting is designed to manage the wildlife population, poaching can be a big problem. The TIP program encourages the public to report natural resource violations. Apply today for your hunting license at area Service Centers. Materials on hunting and the rationale for hunting seasons are available through the library, too! Start with the subject heading 'hunting' or Ask a Librarian for help.
