A DOG SLED AND SOLDIERS (undated); THE EXECUTION OF THE INDIAN CHIEFS LITTLE SIX AND MEDICINE BOTTLE AT FORT SNELLING
Two images on one print. The date on the dogsleds is unknown but appears to be from the 1850's or 60's to judge from the army uniforms. Date of the execution was November 11, 1865. A crowd is looking on as the two hang.

COPY OF TWO TELEGRAMS FROM GOVERNOR RAMSEY TO PRESIDENT LINCOLN REGARDING THE EXECUTION OF THE THIRTY-EIGHT DAKOTA INDIANS IN MANKATO
Upper telegram reads: "To His Excellency the Pres. - I hope the execution of every Sioux Indian condemned by the military court will be at once ordered - it would be wrong upon principal and policy to refuse this - private revenge would on all this le???? take the place of official judgements on these Indians. Alex Ramsey Gov." Lower reads "To the President of the United States - Nothing but the speedy execution of the tried and convicted Sioux Indians will save us here from scores of outrages - If you prefer it turn them over to me and I will order their execution. Alex Ramsey"
