Their club motto was "Better is Wisdom than all Precious Things." They also corresponded with eleven women's clubs in Central and South America in the late 1930s. This particular club was located in Minneapolis, MN, or in the fifth congressional district among many other women's clubs tied to the larger Minnesota Federation of Women's Clubs.
Description of the Collection

Some topics include "North Brazil and the Amazon" and "South American Literature and Art." The clipping describes a Pan-American event planned between the Iota Club and eleven women`s groups in Central and South America, which was aired by WTCN Broadcasting.
