History
This women's organization was founded November 6, 1916. Their primary purpose was to promote and enhance oral education, oral health, and overall well-being in the Minneapolis District, which included the counties of Hennepin, Anoka, Isanti, Wright, Carver, Scott, McLeod, and Renville. The membership consisted of women in the profession of Dentistry and other medical professionals, plus other community leaders. Two programs the organization fostered to achieve its purposes were oral health education programs through schools and scholarships programs for students in dentistry.
Description of the Collection
One envelope. The collection consists of seven members' booklets (1955-1965). The booklets include membership lists, committee lists, officer lists, activities, schedule, constitution and by-laws, and President's report.
