History
The Missionary Round Table was a study group in Minneapolis designed to further missionary work by sharing knowledge on religion, history, the world's cultures and other related topics. The group appeared to be active during the 1920s under director Emma Carter Hoy. They may have been affiliated specifically with the Methodist Episcopal Church.
Collection Description
The collection consists of four small pamphlets on courses of study for the Missionary Round Table (also referred to as the MRT Institute), all of which appear to be authored by Emma Carter Hoy. One pamphlet is dated 1927-1928 and appears to be a calendar of programs for that time period; it also includes a roster of members.
