The mission of the Hennepin History Museum is to promote an understanding of the relationship between Hennepin County's past and present and its contemporary suburban, urban, and rural communities through collecting, preserving and interpreting the county's history.

Minnesota Historical Society

The Minnesota Historical Society connects people with history to help them gain perspective on their lives. The Society preserves the evidence of the past and tells the stories of Minnesota's people.
