Amelia G. (Chapin) Watson (married in 1867 to Jabez Poole Watson 1845-1909) of Marshall, Minnesota was a writer. Collection consists of her diaries 1866-1932. Also a scrapbook of her articles etc. Alice Watson (married to Donald R. Davidson), daughter of Amelia and Jabez Poole Watson, was born in 1867. She was widowed in 1901. Later Alice married Rev. William M. Medlar (Congregational minister of Linden Hills and Wayzata churches), Alice's diaries date from 1881 (age 13) through 1937 (age 70). Also includes a scrapbook. Grace L. Watson (daughter of Amelia and Jabez Poole Watson) (1869-1912) was a composer. Collection includes Grace's sheet music.

Thirteen pieces of Grace Watson's sheet music includes the following songs: "Awakening of Sweet William", 1909; "Boy's Argument", 1909; "Flowers Lullaby", 1908; "Good Night Little Girl Good Night", 1909; "Legend of the Forget-me-not", 1908; "Love's Rosery", 1909; "Night and Morning", 1909; "No Use Kickin'," 1909; "Our Honeymoon", 1910; "Receipt for an April Day", 1909; "Reciprocity", 1909; "Spring Carol", 1909; and Two Songs of Joy: "Try Smiling" and "My Clouds", 1909(2 copies).
