Teen Tech Center will be closed April 7-10
The Best Buy Teen Tech Center will be closed April 7th - April 10th while staff attend the Intel Computer Clubhouse Annual Conference in Denver. The Tech Center will resume regular hours on Monday, April 14th.

Anniversary Showcase
We're looking forward to celebrating the one year anniversary of the Best Buy Teen Tech Center with a Showcase event on February 20th, 2014 from 5:30-7:00.

The public is invited to attend as teen members show off some of what they've learned and produced here in the first year including multimedia projects like music, graphic design, animation and other creative works.

Tech Center Hours for 2014
The Best Buy Teen Tech Center hours will be changing, starting with the library hours change on January 6th, 2014. The new hours for the after school program space are:

The Best Buy Teen Tech Center will be closed the week of April 29th - May 4th while staff attend the Intel Computer Clubhouse Annual Conference in Boston. The Tech Center will resume regular hours on Tuesday, May 7th.

Hennepin County Library is looking for teens ages 16-18 to join our Teen Tech Squad to facilitate creative learning experiences in digital media with teens at the Best Buy Teen Tech Center at Minneapolis Central Library. The Teen Tech Center is an after-school learning environment where young people explore their interests, develop 21st century skills and become more confident learners through their use of technology. Teen Tech Squad facilitators are an important part of the Teen Tech Center community, supporting the learning and creative exploration of Tech Center members.

This is a grant-funded part-time position averaging approximately 30 hours a month. Schedules will vary and will include some evenings and weekends. Teen Tech Squad are paid $8.50/hour.
