Summer Blockbusters
Jody, mentor for Teens OnlineDo you like to go to the movies during the summer? Blockbusters were born in the summer of 1975 with a little film known as Jaws, the first film that became a visceral event that had people lining up around the block to get in. Now blockbusters are not made by the public so much as created by the studios, eager to throw spectacle and high budget effects to put people in theater seats.
