On Wednesday, January 24, from 7 a.m. until noon, you will be unable to log in to your library account, OverDrive, MNLink and other resources due to a system upgrade. Remote access to online resources will also be unavailable.
We have enhanced our notification and renewal service to help make it easier for you to manage your library account.
When an item is coming due, we’ll try to renew it for you – automatically. You won’t lose time, as items renew from the previous due date for another full loan period.
If we have your email address, you’ll get a notice that says what renewed, what didn’t, and new due dates. To add or update your email address, log in to your account.
If there are more holds on a title than copies checked in, your copy won’t renew. Downloadable materials and other special formats like book club kits or interlibrary loans do not automatically renew.
As before, you’ll get up to three renewals (automatic or manual) for each item. Items may still be manually renewed in person, online, or by phone at 612-543-8811.
Questions about automatic renewals? Ask Us. Whether you’re online, on the phone, or in a library, we are here to help.
