Golden Valley Library will be closed due to no running water on Friday, August 18. The library is expected to re-open on Saturday, August 19.
Located in the Longfellow neighborhood of Minneapolis, East Lake Library opened for service in 1924 during the area’s major manufacturing boom. In 1976, the library relocated to its current location. It was renovated and expanded in 2007.
